WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) - State police say they have resolved a bomb threat at Connecticut’s Bradley International Airport and deemed it not credible.

Police received a 911 call at 7 a.m. Tuesday about a possible bomb threat involving an American Airlines flight at the airport.

The situation was resolved by 9:40 a.m.

The flight was evacuated and passengers and luggage were rescreened before officials determined there was no credible threat. The flight eventually departed.

The Hartford Courant reports the airport remained open and there was no impact on other flights.

The investigation into who made the threat remains open.

A World War II-era bomber crashed at the airport when it tried to make an emergency landing on Oct. 2, killing seven. The cause of that crash is still under investigation.
