NASHUA, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire State Police say a 53-year-old Nashua resident was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash involving a drunk driver on F.E. Everett Turnpike.
Police say they responded to a report of the crash at 11:45 p.m. on Saturday in Nashua. They say 36-year-old Sarah Shaw of Nashua was traveling north and struck 53-year-old Osman Konda of Nashua while Konda was standing outside his disabled vehicle.
Police say they charged Shaw with driving while intoxicated. State police didn’t return a call seeking comment. It was unclear on Sunday if Shaw is represented by an attorney.
