The Houston Astros and New York Yankees won’t play Game 4 of the American League Championship Series on Wednesday due to heavy rain in the New York area.
Games 4 and 5 were pushed back a day to Thursday and Friday, respectively. If the series needs more than five games, Game 6 and 7 remain scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in Houston.
Game 4 of the ALCS has been postponed. It will be played Thursday, with Game 5 now pushed to 7:08pm on Friday.

This could benefit the NL champion Washington Nationals, if their AL opponent in the World Series gets worn out from four games in four days. The World Series begins next Tuesday.
The Nationals swept the St. Louis Cardinals in the NLCS, finishing off with a 7-4 win in Game 4 Tuesday night at Nationals Park.
