LANDENBERG, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a struggle between a man and woman ended in a murder-suicide in southeastern Pennsylvania.
State police in Chester County say troopers were sent to a home in London Britain Township on Thursday to check on someone who hadn’t been seen over the weekend.
Troopers looking through a basement window saw evidence of a struggle, after which they forced their way into the home and found two people deceased. Police say evidence at the scene indicated that a man and woman were in a physical altercation inside the home, and the woman was killed. Police say the man then killed himself.
The names of the two weren’t immediately released. Police say there had been no history of incidents at the home.
State police and county authorities are investigating.
