LEWES, Del. (AP) - A former National Geographic photographer has been indicted on tax evasion charges.

The News Journal of Wilmington reports Bruce Kevin Fleming is accused of not filing tax returns, paying personal expenses by diverting corporate funds and evading tax payments. A Department of Justice statement issued Tuesday says that Fleming, owner of Kevin Fleming Inc., evaded taxes between 2012 and 2016.

It says he also failed to pay about $22,000 to the Internal Revenue Service between 2016 and 2017 after deducting the taxes from the wages of employees at his photo gallery in Lewes. The statement says that each of Fleming’s five charges of tax evasion is punishable by up to five years’ incarceration, a $250,000 fine and restitution. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
