DETROIT (AP) - Michigan State University’s Science Gallery Detroit is seeking submissions for its third annual exhibition titled “Future Present: Design in a Time of Urgency.”
The exhibition is slated to take place in fall 2020 and contain 20 to 24 pieces that will explore humanity’s nuanced relationship to various forms of design and the impact it has on the future. Proposals should address the topic and its connection to science and art.
Anyone can apply. Applications must be submitted via Science Gallery Detroit’s open call platform by Jan. 31. Proposals will be reviewed by a panel.
The exhibition will target visitors ages 18-25.
The gallery opened in 2018 in Detroit and is a collaboration between Michigan State and Science Gallery International. It received a $1 million grant from MSU Federal Credit Union.
