Joe Theismann approved of Dwayne Haskins wearing the No. 7 jersey for the Washington Redskins. But the former quarterback isn’t a fan of the way the rookie acted in the final moments of Washington’s 19-16 win against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
On Twitter, Theismann called out Haskins for taking a selfie with fans before the game was over.
How do miss the last snap of a game because ur taking selfies. That’s unprofessional & wrong.

In the spring, Haskins called Theismann to ask for his approval to wear No. 7 on the Redskins. No Redskins player had worn the number in a game since Theisman’s career ended in 1985. Theismann said he appreciated that Haskins reached out to him.
“I want the kid to be successful,” he told NFL Network.
After the win, Redskins interim coach Bill Callahan said the team would address the incident with Haskins.
