CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) - A South Carolina television station is partnering with Clemson University on an on-campus bureau.

WYFF-TV in Greenville says its new satellite office will officially open Tuesday with an appearance on the station’s 4 p.m. news broadcast.

The station’s reporters will use the bureau to help put together and file news and sports stories.

The university says it will use the space to teach journalism and tap into the talent and skill of WYFF employees.

Clemson and WYFF say it is the first collaboration of its kind in South Carolina.

The bureau is at the Hendrix Student Center next to the offices and studio of the student media department.
