Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is reportedly in talks for a new project that would be her second documentary since her election last year.

The documentary focuses on the freshman Democrat’s controversial Green New Deal climate change initiative, two sources familiar with the project told Axios.

Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is reportedly considering the project with filmmaker Rachel Lears, who was also behind the new Netflix documentary “Knock Down the House,” which featured four of the 591 women who ran for Congress in the November midterms, including Ms. Ocasio-Cortez.

That film was picked up by Netflix for $10 million after it debuted in January at the Sundance Film Festival.

Ms. Lears is making her newest film independently, so it may not end up appearing on Netflix, Axios reported.
