It’s been a long journey to recovery for Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier, but moments like this are touching.
Shazier, who suffered a catastrophic spinal cord injury on the football field in December 2017, was able to dance at his own wedding over the weekend.
About a year and a half ago, Ryan Shazier was told he had a 20% chance of ever walking again. This was him today at his wedding.. Anything is possible! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

For a man who was paralyzed 17 months ago and might have never walked again, it’s inspiring to see.
Shazier has been making steady progress in his rehabilitation from the spinal contusion. The Steelers placed him back on the physically unable to perform list in late April, and he’s not expected to play in 2019, but his ultimate goal is to return to football.
