PHOENIX (AP) - The Latest on the sentencing of a Phoenix man in killing of his girlfriend (all times local):

A Phoenix has been sentenced to 20 years in state prison for killing his girlfriend, and another seven years for an unrelated conviction for aggravated assault.
Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Jude Jennifer Ryan Touhill has sentenced Kodi Bowe to 20 years imprisonment in the 2017 shooting death of 21-year-old Taylorlyn Nelson.
Court spokesman Bryan Bouchard says Bowe was sentenced Friday. Bowe also received a consecutive sentence of seven years for aggravated assault, resulting in 27 years imprisonment for both charges.
Bowe earlier pleaded guilty to murder in the death of Nelson, who was shot inside their trailer.
Authorities say Kodi Bowe’s brother, Maxx, held down Nelson’s shoulders while he shot her in the head.
Maxx Bowe earlier pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution and was sentenced to 10 years.

An Arizona man is scheduled to be sentenced Friday for his conviction in the 2017 shooting death of his girlfriend, whose body was later dumped in a lake north of Phoenix.
Kodi Bowe pleaded guilty to murder in the death of 21-year-old Taylorlyn Nelson.
Investigators say Nelson was shot inside the trailer she shared with Bowe.
Bowe faces 10 to 25 years in prison for his murder conviction and 2 ½ to 7 years for an unrelated aggravated assault conviction.
Authorities say Bowe’s brother, Maxx Bowe, held down Nelson’s shoulders while Kodi Bowe shot her in the head.
Maxx Bowe has pleaded guilty to hindering prosecution and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
