ATLANTA (AP) - An investigation has determined a teacher at a suburban Atlanta school gave students a math formula sheet from a state exam ahead of the test.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported Wednesday that the Gwinnett County 8th graders were allowed to use notes they took on the formula sheets during the exam.
The newspaper says the investigation by the state Department of Education and the county school system determined that 76 students should be given the opportunity to take the test again.
Steve Flynt, an associate superintendent in the district, told parents in a letter that there were clear violations of testing procedures.
