DENVER (AP) - The University of Colorado A-Line train to Denver International Airport has registered 20 million passengers since opening for service just more than three years ago.
The Denver Post reports the Regional Transportation District will mark the milestone with a rider appreciation ceremony, featuring free coffee and light refreshments, Friday morning at Central Park station.
The Regional Transportation District says the 23-mile A-Line has traveled more than 8 million miles between Union Station and the airport since it opened in April 2016.
The transportation agency says the A-Line carries an average of 20,600 passengers a day.
