SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - The Latest on pedestrians struck by a car in San Francisco (all times local):
6:20 p.m.
San Francisco police now say seven people - including the driver - were injured when a stolen SUV led authorities on a wild chase, hitting two pedestrians and smashing into other cars.
A person who was struck in a crosswalk suffered life-threatening injuries but KPIX-TV says that person was in stable condition several hours later. People in other cars had non-life threatening injuries.
Police say they began chasing the stolen SUV shortly before 2 p.m. Wednesday near the Tenderloin police station. The car stopped in front of the station, but as officers ran up to arrest the driver, the car took off, hitting a nearby building and hitting a pedestrian. The car then hit several other cars, including a police car, as it went forward and back, trying to escape.
A person in a crosswalk was hit and so were several cars before the chase finally ended. A woman was arrested. Her name hasn’t been released.

Police say a woman in a stolen SUV hit two pedestrians - leaving one with life-threatening injuries - and also struck several cars during a wild chase through San Francisco neighborhoods.
The San Francisco Chronicle says the Kia SUV drove onto a sidewalk and struck a pedestrian Thursday afternoon near the Tenderloin police station.
Video from the scene shows a dozen officers swarming the vehicle, which reverses and hits another pedestrian before smashing into a parked car and speeding away.
Police say the Kia sped through several intersections and hit several cars before police caught up with it in the South of Market neighborhood.
The woman was arrested. Her name wasn’t immediately released.
The newspaper says both pedestrians were hospitalized and one had life-threatening injuries.
