Toronto Raptors superfan Drake might want to keep his left arm covered during the upcoming NBA Finals.
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Canadian rapper’s tattoos suggest at least some devotion to the Raptors’ opponent, the Golden State Warriors.
Side-by-side markings on Drake’s left arm pay tribute to the Warriors’ two biggest stars — guard Stephen Curry and forward Kevin Durant.
The Chronicle reminded readers with pictures of Drake’s Warriors love Monday, three days before the first game in the best-of-seven series and probably numerous front-row appearances (or even bench-warming or on-court cameos) by the rap star born as Aubrey Drake Graham.
“Curry’s is his jersey number, 30, in NBA uniform font. Beneath it, is the word ’gifted’ in cursive. Above it — to emphasize Curry’s angelic demeanor, we assume — is a small halo,” the Chronicle wrote.
The Durant ink is his jersey number “35” with the word “snipe” below it, a play off Durant’s social-media handle “easymoneysniper.”
According to the Chronicle, Drake counts Curry and Canadian wife Ayesha as restaurant-going friends and has referred to the Warriors numerous times in his songs.
