BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Officials in Burlington are reminding motorists that a number of streets are closed during the running of the Vermont City Marathon.
Thousands of runners were expected for the Sunday race that began and ends near the Lake Champlain waterfront.
The Burlington Free Press reports parking in parts of the city will also be affected.
The first racers were on the course at 7 a.m.
The course snakes from one end of the city to the other.
