BROCKTON, Mass. (AP) - Authorities continue to investigate a shooting in Brockton that left a 32-year-old man dead.
Police alerted by ShotSpotter, the city’s gunfire detection system as well as 911 calls from neighbors, responded to Highland Street at about 11:30 p.m. Friday where they found the victim in a parking lot.
His name has not been released.
Beth Stone, a spokeswoman for District Attorney Timothy Cruz, says the victim taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities have not announced any arrests.
It was the city’s second homicide of the year.
