OPINION:
After first writing that Rep. Justin Amash believes the Mueller report accuses President Trump of impeachable offenses, former Judge Napolitano goes on to say categorically that “Mr. Amash’s argument is simple and essentially unassailable” (“To impeach or not to impeach,” Web, May 22).
Mr. Napolitano further asserts that “Mr. Mueller did not seek an indictment of the president on these crimes because he knew that Mr. Barr, his boss, would not permit one.” This implies that Mr. Mueller did not work independently after two years of investigations and that he was in collusion with the Department of Justice. These are startling implications that stretch credibility.
