HOUSTON (AP) - The 30-year-old son of retired pitcher Roger Clemens has been arrested on a drunken driving charge.

Officers stopped Kory Allen Clemens early Tuesday after watching the pickup truck he was driving speed down a Houston street and run a red light. Houston police spokesman John Cannon says the officers observed signs of intoxication, so they summoned a special DWI officer who performed a field sobriety test. Cannon says Clemens failed the test.

He was charged with his first DWI offense and released on $100 bond. If convicted, he could be sentenced to up to six months in jail and fined up to $2,000.

Kory is the second-oldest of Clemens’ four sons.
