CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) - A 32-year-old man has been fatally stabbed at a gas station in Charlotte.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say Andrew Tyrelle Allen was found at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday with multiple stab wounds in the parking lot of a Shell gas station. Allen died at a hospital.

Police said they arrested a suspect near the scene. They identified him as 55-year-old Richard Bernard Grier. He is charged with first-degree murder and is scheduled to appear in court Monday afternoon.

Police did not say whether Allen and Grier knew each other.
