A Kenyan citizen who’s been living in the United States illegally has now been charged by authorities with the killing at least 11 women.

Yet all the Democrats want to talk about is open borders.

All the Democrats want to talk about is amnesty and abolishing ICE — not about the problems some of these illegal border-crossers bring.

Think about that.

Billy Chemirmir, 46, illegal extraordinaire, was first taken into custody in March 2018 for the killing of an 81-year-old Dallas woman, Lu Thi Harris.

Since, investigators have found evidence that ties him to 10 other murders. The victims were elderly women between the ages of 76 and 94. Chemirmir’s been indicted just this week on charges of capital murder for these poor women.

Chemirmir denies everything.

But: He’s illegal. He doesn’t belong in America. He’s facing charges of being in America illegally. Token reference to “alleged” crimes aside — fact is, these women, these 11 elderly women, would most likely still be alive today if Chemirmir wasn’t in-country.

That’s how it is with so many — with too many — of the victims of atrocious killings and maimings and murderings of America’s people. Kate Steinle, anyone?

Democrats don’t like to address these types of obvious issues when it comes to the border.

They like to say things like this, from Rep. Ilhan Omar, just this week: “We need to abolish ICE and end all inhuman deportation and detention programs.”

Or this, from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, first on Twitter in 2018 — “We MUST have the moral and political courage to #abolishICE” — and then again, just this April, when she doubled down and said, “I think ’abolish ICE’ is a call to action, which I support.”

Democrats on the presidential campaign trail have apparently learned enough from recent polls to realize such radical view aren’t winning them favor with the people, and many who previously called for the abolition of ICE have since adopted softer tones — or more to truth, gone into hiding.

Beto O’Rourke, for example, who as a former House member once tasked with representing the very same state in which Chemirmir’s accused of illegally living — and murdering — told “The View” hosts in the most generic of tones that the federal government needs to “change immigration laws to respect our values.” This is the same guy who once boldly spoke of the need for America to open borders wide, security concerns be danged.

Sens. Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and the rest have all gone similarly squishy on their #AbolishICE catcalls.

But it’s not enough.

It’s not enough to go from “open borders, all the time” and “disband ICE,” to nod and smile and hope nobody brings up the old open borders, disband ICE messaging.

Not when there are murderers lurking about.

Not when illegals come to this country, kill our citizens, murder our innocents.

Democrats can waffle all they want; they can politic all they like. But in the end, even they can’t convolute the solution to egregious crimes committed by illegals.

The solution, no matter how Democrats spin, is to put tighter controls on the border. Even experienced and committed leftists can’t spin this truth.

Even experienced and committed leftists can’t spin away murders.
