CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon has a new spokesman.
Michael Pearlman begins his new job Thursday. He previously was a reporter and editor at Wyoming newspapers including the Jackson Hole News & Guide.
He’s also worked in marketing at Sierra Trading Post in Cheyenne.
Pearlman was a child actor who appeared in films and the television show “Charles in Charge” in the 1980s. He holds a journalism degree from New York University.
Previous Gordon spokeswoman Rachel Girt plans to go back to working in private-sector communications.
Gordon took office in January. He continues to hire staff including Karen Hayes as executive assistant; Lachelle Brant, Erica Legerski and Beth Callaway as policy advisers; and Pamela Perea to manage boards and commissions.
