NBA Draft Lottery: How to watch, Wizards odds, what time

Zion Williamson is as much of a sure thing as any NBA prospect in recent memory. Tuesday night, the basketball world will finally know where the destined No. 1 pick in 2019 will start his pro career.

But Williamson is far from the only prize in this year’s NBA draft. Williamson’s Duke teammate R.J. Barrett, mid-major star Ja Morant and national champion De’Andre Hunter all could go in the top five.

That’s why it’s important to see where the Washington Wizards land. Here’s what you need to know before the ping-pong balls are drawn.

It was important the Wizards sneaked away from the logjam of New Orleans, Dallas and Memphis in the final few games of the regular season; it improved Washington’s chances for the No. 1 pick immensely, and being among the six worst teams locked it into the top 10.

So even though there’s just a 9% shot of Williamson rattling the rims at Capital One Arena for the home team, the Wizards still have a good shot at landing another great piece from this draft, someone who will have an impact right away.
