CENTRAL

AUSTIN: Water lightly stained; 65-74 degrees; 0.66 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Rat-L-Traps, Texas rigs and drop shot rigs. Sunfish are slow to fair on dough bait and red wigglers. Catfish are fair to good on cut or live shad and nightcrawlers.

BASTROP: Water stained; 67-71 degrees. Black bass are fair on dark soft plastics, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait, shrimp, and minnows. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water stained; 68-72 degrees; 2.15 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

BROWNWOOD: Water stained; 65-69 degrees; 0.77 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANAN: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 2.06 feet low. Black bass are good on hard jerkbaits, and black/blue Whacky Sticks on jigheads along ledges in 12-20 feet. Striped bass are fair trolling crankbaits and drifting live bait in 20-30 feet. White bass are fair on Pirk Minnows, Shad Raps, and live bait. Crappie are good on minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

CANYON LAKE: Water stained; 65-69 degrees; 0.20 feet high. Black bass are good on brown Curb’s hair jigs, watermelon lizards, and Scoundrel worms along break lines and ledges in 15-25 feet. Striped bass are good vertically jigging Pirk Minnows and Spoiler Shads. White bass are fair on ¼-oz. Blade Baits in 40 feet. Smallmouth bass are good on smoke/red flake tubes, tomato red curl tail grubs, and tomato red drop shot worms over rock piles in 12-25 feet. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs upriver. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

COLEMAN: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 0.51 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.

FAYETTE: Water stained. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits, Rat-L-Traps, Senkos, flukes, and soft plastics. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp, nightcrawlers, and stinkbait.

GRANBURY: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 0.14 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse/black soft plastics and Rat-L-Traps over grass. Striped bass are fair on silver striper jigs. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are good on minnows and black tube jigs. Catfish are slow.

GRANGER: Water stained; 65-69 degrees; 2.14 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

LBJ: Water stained; 67-71 degrees; 0.89 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse Curb’s jigs and watermelon red tubes. Striped bass are fair on silver slabs. WHITNEY: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 4.20 feet high. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are slow.

NORTHEAST

ATHENS: Water clear; 70-73 degrees; 0.57 feet high. Black bass are good on buzzbaits, topwater poppers and Texas rigged creature baits. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BENBROOK: Water stained; 69-72 degrees; 2.85 feet high. Black bass are slow on squarebill crankbaits, swimjigs and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BOB SANDLIN: Water stained; 71-74 degrees; 0.56 feet high. Black bass are fair on weightless Senkos, buzzbaits and Texas rigged creature baits. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BONHAM: Water lightly stained; 69-72 degrees; 0.02 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged craws, hollow body frogs, and topwater walking baits. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

FAIRFIELD: Water lightly stained. Black bass are good on Texas rigged craws, Flukes and topwater poppers. No report on other species.

FORK: Water lightly stained; 73-75 degrees; 0.07 feet low. Black bass are fair on white buzzbaits, hollow body frogs and Texas rigged creature baits. White and yellow bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines.

GRAPEVINE: Water stained; 70-73 degrees; 4.55 feet high. Black bass are slow on squarebill crankbaits, topwater poppers and Texas rigged creature baits. White bass and hybrid bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

WRIGHT PATMAN: Water stained; 71-75 degrees; 9.82 feet high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged craws, hollow body frogs and buzzbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

SOUTH

AMISTAD: Water stained; 70-74 degrees; 28.20 feet low. Black bass are good on crankbaits, jerkbaits, soft plastics, and jigs. Striped bass are fair on slabs, small crankbaits, and spoons. White bass are good on slabs, small crankbaits, and minnows. Crappie are fair on live minnows up Devil’s River in the trees. Catfish are fair on cheesebait, shrimp, and nightcrawlers over baited holes. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

BRAUNIG: Water stained. Black bass are good on crankbaits and dark soft plastic worms in the reeds and near the jetty and dam. Striped bass are good on liver and shad near the pier. Redfish are fair down rigging silver spoons near the jetty and dam. Channel catfish are very good on liver, shrimp, cheesebait, and cut bait. Blue catfish are good on cut bait in 15-20 feet.

CALAVERAS: Water stained. Black bass are good on dark soft plastic worms and crankbaits in reed beds. Striped bass are very good on cut perch and shad along the shoreline. Redfish are fair down rigging silver spoons near the dam in 15-20 feet. Channel and blue catfish are very good on live bait, shrimp, and prepared bait near the railroad trestle. Yellow catfish are slow.

CHOKE CANYON: Water stained; 68-72 degrees; 14.04 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse crankbaits and Texas rigged watermelon soft plastic lizards. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs under lights at night. Drum are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on punchbait. Yellow catfish are good on live bait.

COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 68 degrees in the main lake, 98 degrees at the hot water discharge, 67-71 degrees in main lake; 0.01 feet low. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits and crankbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs in 10-12 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on live perch and cut bait in 8-10 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

CORPUS CHRISTI LAKE: Water off color; 68-75 degrees; 0.11 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on white chatterbaits, Texas rigs and shad pattern shallow running crankbaits. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and live or dead shad.

FALCON: Water stained; 69-73 degrees; 27.35 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon red Brush Hogs, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on frozen shrimp, stinkbait, and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

TEXANA: Water stained; 69-77 degrees; 0.81 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, chatterbaits and Senkos. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

SOUTHEAST

CONROE: Water stained; 67-71 degrees; 0.86 feet low. Black bass are fair on dark soft plastics, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on stinkbait, cut bait, and frozen shrimp.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water stained. Black bass are fair on watermelon red and green pumpkin soft plastics and crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp, nightcrawlers, and stinkbait.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water stained; 74-78 degrees; 0.33 feet high. Black bass are fair on white spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and watermelon red Wacky worms near the islands and near grassy banks along the north side of the lake. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on live minnows. Bream are slow. Channel and blue catfish to 4 pounds are good on juglines and on stinkbait off piers. Yellow catfish are slow.

LIVINGSTON: Water stained; 66-70 degrees; 1.40 feet high. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

SAM RAYBURN: Water stained; 67-71 degrees; 0.95 feet high. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigged watermelon red soft plastics and Rat-L-Traps. White bass are fair on live minnows and silver spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows. Bream are good on worms. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp, live minnows, and stinkbait.

STEINHAGEN: 0.53 feet low. No report available.

TOLEDO BEND: Water stained; 68-72 degrees; 1.51 feet low. Black bass are good on green pumpkin soft plastics, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are fair on silver spoons. White bass are fair on minnows and white Li’l Fishies. Crappie are fair on minnows and red tube jigs. Bream are good on worms. Channel and blue catfish are fair on frozen shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

PANHANDLE

GREENBELT: Water off color; 57-67 degrees; 35.70 feet low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and shallow running crankbaits. Crappie are fair on live minnows under a float. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

MACKENZIE: Water stained; 56-68 degrees; 78.97 feet low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs, jigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

MEREDITH: Water fairly clear; 52-65 degrees; 48.91 feet low. No reports on black or smallmouth bass. There are a few reports of walleye being caught on live bait and artificials. Bream are slow to fair on cut nightcrawlers. Channel catfish are fair on live or dead shad.

WEST

ALAN HENRY: Water clear main lake and 63 degrees, stained up the river and 73 degrees; 2.18 feet low. Black bass are good on topwaters fair on Texas rigged worms. Crappie are fair at night on minnows. Catfish are fair on punch bait and cut bait.

ARROWHEAD: Water stained; 58-66 degrees; 0.92 feet high. Black bass are fair to good Texas rigs, 2-inch Storm WildEye Swim Shad and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

COLORADO CITY: Water fairly clear; 59-67 degrees; 12.85 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on shakyheads, white spinnerbaits and watermelon red flukes. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water stained; 58-67 degrees; 0.97 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on 4-inch Mardi Gras YUM Dingers, shakyheads, Texas rigs and pearl crankbaits. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water stained; 58-65 degrees; 0.11 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on chartreuse Sexy Shad chatterbaits, Texas rigs and shad pattern crankbaits. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut shad.

NASWORTHY: Water stained; 61-68 degrees; 0.75 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigged black/blue Power Worms, shakyheads and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on stinkbait, live bait and nightcrawlers.

OAK CREEK: Water stained; 59-66 degrees; 0.44 feet high. Black bass are fair on white spinnerbaits, Texas rigged watermelon seed creature baits and split shot rigged flukes. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

O.H. IVIE: Water stained; 58-67 degrees; 14.56 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on 5-inch YUM Dingers, Texas rigs and shad pattern spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut and live bait.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water fairly clear; 63-69 degrees; 0.18 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on drop shot rigs, Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows with a split shot weight. White bass are fair to good on tail spinners and live shad. Striped bass are fair to good on live shad. Catfish are fair to good on live shad and nightcrawlers.

SPENCE: Water off color; 59-67 degrees; 36.12 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on white chatterbaits, Texas rigged watermelon candy Baby Brush Hogs and shallow running crankbaits. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows under a cork. Catfish are fair on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

STAMFORD: Water stained to muddy; 58-65 degrees; 1.30 feet high. Black bass are fair on shakyheads, chrome Rat-L-Traps and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair on split shot rigged live minnows and marabou jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Blue catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water stained; 57-68 degrees; 0.15 feet high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.

WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 55-67 degrees; 22.57 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigged 7-inch black/blue fleck Power Worms, chrome Rat-L-Traps and finesse jigs. Crappie are fair to good on split shot rigged live minnows. Catfish are good live or dead minnows.

COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good on the Louisiana shoreline on topwaters and Corkies. Flounder are fair on jigs tipped with shrimp around marsh drains. Trout are good in the river on shad.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad. Sheepshead and black drum are good at the jetty on live shrimp. Trout are fair to good around Lighthouse Cove on topwaters.

BOLIVAR: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on Bass Assassins, Lil’ Johns and Gamblers. Black drum, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass.

TRINITY BAY: Trout are fair on live bait around the reefs. Redfish are fair to good in the marsh on shrimp and mullet.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good on the south shoreline on She Dogs and soft plastics. Trout are good while drifting the reefs on plastics. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair on topwaters and Corkies in the afternoon. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs.

TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good on Dollar Reef on live shrimp and croakers. Redfish are fair in Moses Lake on mullet and shrimp.

FREEPORT: Trout are fair to good at San Luis Pass on shrimp. Sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay. Black drum are good at the jetties on cracked blue crabs.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are good for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good on the edge of the Intracoastal on crabs and mullet and under mud boils in the middle of the bay.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Redfish are fair to good on the edge of Oyster Lake on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair on shell and grass on soft plastics. Redfish are fair to good in Lake Austin on crabs.

PORT O’CONNOR: Trout and redfish are good on topwaters over sand and grass in the guts in San Antonio Bay. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp. Trout are fair to good at the jetty on live shrimp and croakers.

ROCKPORT: Trout are fair to good in the guts and channels on free-lined shrimp. Black drum are good in the Lydia Ann Channel on crabs. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp.

PORT ARANSAS: Redfish are fair to good at East Flats and around Dagger Island on shrimp and crabs. Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp and croakers.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the potholes on shrimp. Trout are good for drifters working like shrimp over sand and grass.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are fair to good on topwaters and live bait over deep rocks. Trout are good at night in the Land Cut on live shrimp.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on topwaters around sand and grass at Green Island and Gladys Hole. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes and while anchored with natural baits at East Cut.

SOUTH PADRE: Trout are good around the spoil islands, channel edges and color changes on DOA Shrimp and live shrimp. Redfish are good on the edge of the flats on live bait. Snook are fair to good in South Bay.

PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the flats on live shrimp. Redfish are fair to good in while drifting flats with DOA Shrimp under a cork.
