ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) - Jimmy Boeheim had 21 points as Cornell defeated Dartmouth 66-51 on Saturday night.

Boeheim shot 9 for 10 from the field.

Joel Davis had 11 points for Cornell (15-15, 7-7 Ivy League). Steven Julian added seven rebounds.

Matt Morgan, whose 23 points per game coming into the matchup led the Big Red, was held to eight points (3 of 10).

Cornell entered the locker room at halftime trailing 29-28, but the Big Red were able to outscore the Big Green 38-22 in the second half to roll to the victory. The Big Green’s 22 points in the second half marked a season low for the team.

Chris Knight had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Big Green (11-19, 2-12), who have now lost eight straight games. James Foye added 10 points. Aaryn Rai had nine rebounds.

The Big Red improve to 2-0 against the Big Green this season. Cornell defeated Dartmouth 83-80 on Feb. 8.
