GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Asia Durr scored 24 points, and No. 3 Louisville pulled away to beat Clemson 75-67 on Friday night in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.

Dana Evans had seven of her 15 points during a fourth-quarter run that helped the second-seeded Cardinals (28-2) separate themselves from the Tigers and advance to the semifinals for the fifth time in five years in the ACC.

Arica Carter added 10 points and Sam Fuehring finished with 14 rebounds for Louisville, which trailed 60-54 entering the fourth before outscoring Clemson 19-5 during the first 3½ minutes.

Aliyah Collier and Simone Westbrook scored 17 points apiece while Kobi Thornton and Danielle Edwards each finished with 11 for the seventh-seeded Tigers (19-12).

NO. 4 NOTRE DAME 95, NORTH CAROLINA 77

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Arike Ogunbowale scored 28 points, and Notre Dame beat North Carolina in an ACC Tournament quarterfinal.

Brianna Turner had 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Jackie Young finished with 19 points and nine assists to help the top-seeded Fighting Irish (28-3) win their seventh straight and avenge one of their two league losses. They will play No. 18 Syracuse on Saturday in the semifinals.

Ogunbowale finished four points shy of her career high while hitting five 3-pointers.

Paris Kea scored 27 and Janelle Bailey finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds in her return from a one-game suspension for the eighth-seeded Tar Heels (18-14).

NO. 5 MISSISSIPPI STATE 83, TENNESSEE 68

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Anriel Howard scored 26 points, Southeastern Conference player of the year Teaira McCowan had 17 points and 13 rebounds and Mississippi State beat Tennessee in the Southeastern Conference Tournament.

The Bulldogs (28-2) turned a close game into a runaway with a 24-7 run over the final eight minutes of the second quarter. They’ll take on No. 13 Kentucky or Missouri in Saturday’s semifinals.

Howard hits 11 of 15 shots, continually driving in for layups. Evina Westbrook had 19 points to lead the Lady Vols (19-12), who committed a season-high 26 turnovers.

NO. 6 OREGON 77, ARIZONA 63

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Sabrina Ionescu had 18 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds to lead Oregon past Aari McDonald and Arizona in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament.

The star junior guard, who is the NCAA career leader with 17 triple-doubles, put on a show for the many Ducks faithful who made the trip to Las Vegas.

Ruthy Hebard led Oregon (28-3) with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

McDonald did everything she could to keep the eighth-seeded Wildcats (18-13) in the game. She had 34 points, going 12 for 21 from the field.

NO. 7 STANFORD 72, CALIFORNIA 54

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Kiana Williams scored 23 points, Alanna Smith added 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Stanford beat rival Cal in the Pac-12 Tournament quarterfinals.

Stanford was up 55-52 with 4:11 left when Shannon Coffee hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key. It was her only basket, and it ignited a 17-2 run to close the game.

Dijonai Carrington added 16 points for Stanford (26-4).

Recee Caldwell led Cal (19-12) with 17 points, including the 1,000th of her career.

NO. 8 MARYLAND 71, MICHIGAN STATE 55

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Kaila Charles scored 16 of her 21 points in the second half and Maryland used a stifling defense to pull away from Michigan State in the Big Ten tournament quarterfinals.

The Terrapins (27-3) head into Saturday’s semifinal game with 12 wins in their last 13 games and chasing their fourth league tourney crown in five years. They’ve already won the Big Ten’s regular-season title.

Jenna Allen had 19 points and seven rebound to lead Michigan State, which made only seven baskets in the second half. The Spartans (20-11) have lost two of their last three as they wait to find out their postseason plans.

NO. 9 NORTH CAROLINA STATE 69, NO. 22 FLORIDA STATE 62

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Elissa Cunane had 22 points, and North Carolina State held on to beat Florida State 69-62 in an ACC Tournament quarterfinal.

DD Rogers added 16 points and Aislinn Konig finished with 12 for the third-seeded Wolfpack (26-4), who reached the semifinals for the fifth time since 2010.

N.C. State will play third-ranked Louisville (28-2), the tournament’s second seed, on Saturday.

Nicki Ekhomu scored 23 points for the sixth-seeded Seminoles (23-8).

NO. 10 IOWA 70, INDIANA 61

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Megan Gustafson scored 30 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to help Iowa pull away late and beat Indiana in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals.

The Hawkeyes (24-6), the Big Ten regular-season runners-up, have won nine of their last 10 and will make their first semifinal appearance since 2014 on Saturday.

Tenth-seeded Indiana (20-12) was led by Ali Patberg with 25 points. Grace Berger added 13 points of the bench for last year’s WNIT champions.

WASHINGTON 68, NO. 11 OREGON STATE 67

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Missy Peterson hit a deep 3-pointer with 2.3 seconds left to give Washington a stunning upset of Oregon State in the Pac-12 Tournament quarterfinals.

The victory continued the Huskies’ shocking run as they became the first 11 seed to reach the semifinals since 2012 when Washington State did it. Next up is seventh-ranked Stanford.

Aleah Goodman’s final shot from well behind the 3-point line was short at the buzzer, setting off a wild celebration from the Huskies.

Amber Melgoza scored 21 points and Peterson had 19 for the Huskies (11-20).

This was the second year in a row that Oregon State (24-7) lost as a No. 3 seed in its opening game of the tournament.

ARKANSAS 95, NO. 12 SOUTH CAROLINA 89

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Chelsea Dungee scored 31 points and Arkansas upset South Carolina to end the Gamecocks’ run of four straight SEC Tournament titles.

Alexis Tolefree made four 3-pointers and scored 18 points, Malica Monk had 16 points and six assists and Jailyn Mason had 14 points for the Razorbacks (19-14), who became the first 10-seed to reach SEC semifinals since 1993.

Mikiah Herbert Harrigan scored a career-high 27 points for the second-seeded Gamecocks (21-9). Tyasha Harris added 24 points. South Carolina made only 7 of 25 3-point attempts.

MISSOURI 70, NO. 13 KENTUCKY 68

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Sophie Cunningham scored 29 points, including seven in overtime, and Missouri beat Kentucky to advance to the SEC Tournament semifinals for the first time.

Cunningham took a pass from Lauren Aldridge to score the go-ahead basket for a 65-63 lead with 55 seconds left in overtime.

Cunningham was 7-of-12 shooting with three 3-pointers and sank 12 of 14 free throws.

Rhyne Howard scored 25 points but missed all six of her 3-point tries with the fourth-seeded Wildcats (24-7) failing to hit a 3-pointer on all 16 attempts.

Missouri (23-9), which has won four straight, faces top-seeded and fifth-ranked Mississippi State on Saturday.

NO. 15 TEXAS A&M 64, AUBURN 62

GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Kayla Wells scored 28 points and hit the game-winner with 5.3 seconds left to push Texas A&M past Auburn in an SEC Tournament quarterfinal.

The third-seeded Aggies (24-6) move on to face No. 10 seed Arkansas in a Saturday semifinal despite committing a season-high 26 turnovers.

Ciera Johnson and N’dea Jones added 12 points apiece for Texas A&M.

Janiah McKay scored 17 points and Unique Thompson had 13 for sixth-seeded Auburn (22-9).

NO. 18 SYRACUSE 92, NO. 16 MIAMI 85

GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Tiana Mangakahia had 25 points and 13 assists, and Syracuse made an ACC Tournament-record 14 3-pointers to beat Miami in a quarterfinal.

Miranda Drummond added 19 points, Gabrielle Cooper and Digna Strautmane had 15 each and Kiara Lewis 10 for the fifth-seeded Orange (24-7), who lost at home to Miami 84-71 in the teams’ only regular-season meeting.

Beatrice Mompremier scored 27 points with 10 rebounds, Emese Hof added a season-high-tying 25 points and Mykea Gray had 13 for the fourth-seeded Hurricanes (24-8).

NO. 25 UCLA 73, NO. 20 ARIZONA STATE 69

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Japreece Dean scored 24 points and Michaela Onyenwere added 20 to help UCLA beat Arizona State in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament.

The fourth-seeded Bruins (20-11) were up 14 points in the third quarter before the Sun Devils (20-10) rallied to within 57-56 at the end of the period.

Dean and Kennedy Burke combined for the team’s first eight points of the fourth quarter to extend the advantage to 65-58 with 4:15 left.

Kianna Ibis scored 14 points to lead Arizona State, which has a school-record six straight 20-win seasons. The Sun Devils now await an NCAA Tournament bid.
