The trade market for Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is quickly developing — and a deal is expected to be made by Friday.

According to multiple reports, the Steelers are telling teams to submit their best offer and a trade could be done soon. The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported three new teams have “jumped in” in the last 48 hours.

Last week at the NFL scouting combine, Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said his team was exploring a Brown trade, but talks had only been preliminary.

An ESPN report later stated the Washington Redskins were among three teams who had shown the most interest in Brown. It is not known how serious talks between the Redskins and the Steelers have been.

Brown cannot officially be traded until March 13 — when the NFL’s new calendar year begins — but an agreement can be reached before then.
