Sen. Lindsey Graham on Thursday said the chairman of the House intelligence committee has strayed so far from facts that he’s bordering on conspiracy-theory level.

Mr. Graham, speaking on Fox News, told host Neil Cavuto that Rep. Adam Schiff’s comments over the months, and particularly after the submission of the Mueller report finding no conspiracy to subvert the 2016 election, have gone too far.

“Congressman Schiff is really becoming the Oliver Stone of the House,” said Mr. Graham, referring to the filmmaker whose “JFK” movie promoted a conspiracy theory about the death of the president in 1963.

Mr. Schiff, a Democrat, came under fire from Republicans on the intelligence panel Thursday. They all signed a letter asking Mr. Schiff to step down.

President Trump has told Mr. Schiff to resign from Congress altogether.

Democratic leaders, though, rallied to back Mr. Schiff, saying he is a man of “highest integrity, highest intellect.”
