Robert Griffin III is facing a lawsuit from his former agent, who claims the former Washington Redskins quarterback owes him nearly $$659,000 in fees from marketing and endorsement deals.

The agent, Ben Dogra, said he and Griffin had an oral agreement in which the quarterback would pay a 15 percent share of deals he negotiated since 2014. Griffin fired Dogra in 2018.

According to Yahoo Sports, Dogra is seeking repayment of the debt, interest and further damages. The lawsuit was filed in Missouri.

Dogra alleges Griffin didn’t fully fulfill his payments. From Yahoo:

According to the court filing:

  • Dogra invoiced Griffin for $389,803 in fees in 2014 and received $12,975 in payments.

  • Dogra invoiced Griffin for $258,559 in fees in 2015 and received $36,371 in payments.

  • Dogra invoiced Griffin for $58,714 in fees in 2016 and received no payments.

Griffin spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens and recently re-signed a two-year deal with the team. He spent four seasons with the Washington Redskins, drafted second overall in 2012.
