LEVITTOWN, N.Y. (AP) - A 22-year-old man has been charged with secretly videotaping two women at tanning salons on Long Island.

Police on Wednesday say Jake Gabler-Colotti was a customer at Beach Bum Tanning in Levittown when a female saw him using a camera to videotape her on March 12. The young man was arrested after the woman contacted police.

During an investigation, police say detectives found that he also videotaped other female customers at the company’s other salons in Seaford and Plainview. Police say a second victim has come forward.

Gabler-Colotti has pleaded not guilty to unlawful surveillance charges.

His attorney, Cornell Bouse, told Newsday the 22-year-old is “a good kid” who’s “never been in any trouble with the law.” He said the case is “entirely circumstantial.”
