CHARLOTTE, Vt. (AP) - The ferry service between Charlotte, Vermont, and Essex, New York, has been restored on Lake Champlain.
The ferry departed Saturday morning as scheduled after an ice closure.
Officials had shut down the ferry route Friday afternoon.
