Rep. Dan Crenshaw said President Trump should stop focuses on the late Sen. John McCain, suggesting he has nothing to gain from attacking a dead man.

“There is just no reason to be talking about Senator McCain after he has passed,” Mr. Crenshaw, Texas Republican, said on Twitter.

“He is not your poltical [sic] enemy Mr. President.”

Mr. Crenshaw is a former Navy SEAL who won the seat in Texas’ 2nd Congressional District last fall.
