The Washington Redskins will host Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins in the near future for a pre-draft visit, according to ESPN.
Coach Jay Gruden and team president Bruce Allen were both in attendance Wednesday for Haskins’ pro day. Haskins, 21, is regarded as the second-best quarterback in this year’s draft, trailing Kyler Murray.
Haskins, who went to high school in Maryland, started only one season at Ohio State — but led the nation in passing yards with 4,831. He threw 50 touchdowns to only eight interceptions.
In the coming days, Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins is scheduled to work out for Raiders and Dolphins in Columbus, and then he’s also scheduled to visit the Redskins, Broncos and Giants, per league sources.
