PHOENIX (AP) - The Latest on A Phoenix shooting (all times local):

11 a.m.

Phoenix police say a suspect is in custody in a shooting that left two people dead and four others injured.

No information was released immediately about the suspect or circumstances of the arrest Tuesday.

Police earlier said initial reports indicated the suspect left a house party after an altercation early Tuesday morning and later returned and began shooting before leaving the scene again.

The incident occurred near North 27th Avenue and West Dunlap Avenue.

Phoenix police say a man and a woman are dead and four other people were hospitalized after being shot following a verbal altercation at a house party. No arrest was made.

Police say initial reports indicate the suspect left the party after the altercation early Tuesday morning and later returned and began shooting before leaving the scene again.

No identities were released but police say they’re searching for the suspect and that there’s no active threat at the shooting scene in northwest Phoenix.

The incident occurred near North 27th Avenue and West Dunlap Avenue.
