OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Authorities say the two people killed in the crash of a twin-engine jet near Oklahoma City were both pilots.

The Oklahoma medical examiner’s office on Tuesday said 60-year-old Doug Durning and 43-year Britton Lee died as a result of the crash Monday at Sundance Airport.

Office spokeswoman Amy Elliott says the causes of death are pending.

Durning was a pilot, flight instructor and president of Freedom Flyers Aviation in Oklahoma City and Lee was a pilot, flight instructor and founder of Pilotmakerokc .

A suspected cause of the crash and which person was piloting has not been released.

The aircraft was returning from Panama City, Florida, when it crashed at the airport on the northwest edge of Oklahoma City.
