White House counselor Kellyanne Conway has two words to describe the growing field of Democrats vying to knock off President Trump in the 2020 election: “Hot mess.”

Ms. Conway told “Fox & Friends” Monday morning that “the baker’s dozen” of candidates has “no strategy” for taking on the president.

“You’ve got Beto O’Rourke and you’ve got Cory Booker promising that they would nominate a woman to be the VP,” she said. “Do they not think women running are good enough to be president? … Which Democrat, in fact, is actually going to bust through Trump’s 306 electoral votes? Where is the proof of that?”

Ms. Conway added that Mr. Trump may be far more competitive in 2020 in states such as Nevada, New Hampshire, Colorado, New Mexico and others due to the strong U.S. economy.

“I’m naming states to you,” she told the panel. “I think the president will compete in many places as the incumbent president presiding over a boom economy that is the envy of the world.”
