Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt will be suspended for eight games for actions that violated the NFL’s personal conduct policy, the league announced Friday.
Security camera footage at a hotel where he held a residence showed Hunt shoving and kicking a woman during an altercation last year. TMZ obtained and released the footage in November.
Hunt’s agent released a statement saying he will not appeal the decision:

The Kansas City Chiefs released Hunt, their starting running back, when the video became public. The Cleveland Browns then signed him during the offseason.
Hunt is eligible to return to the field in Week 9 or 10, depending on when Cleveland’s bye week is scheduled.
Hunt is from Ohio and went to college at Toledo. The hotel where the attack occurred was in Cleveland as well.
Hunt led the NFL in rushing as a rookie in 2017 with 1,327 yards and added 824 yards in 11 games last year. He has already scored 25 total touchdowns for his career — 15 rushing, 10 receiving.
