The House will attempt to override President Trump’s veto and stop his border wall construction in a March 26 vote, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday.
“House Republicans will have to choose between their partisan hypocrisy and their sacred oath to support and defend the Constitution,” Mrs. Pelosi said.
Mr. Trump signed his first veto of his tenure earlier Friday, rejecting Congress’s attempt to stop his emergency declaration.
