LAURENS, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a worker was shot in the leg at a Walmart warehouse in South Carolina by a fellow employee who he took a restraining order out against.

Laurens County Sheriff Don Reynolds says the report of a shooting at the Laurens warehouse around 3:40 p.m. Sunday triggered a massive response from law enforcement.

Reynolds said at a news conference dozens of officers took hours to find everyone hiding in the huge facility and after word spread someone had a gun, and to make sure there were no other threats.

Reynolds didn’t say what prompted the shooting.

The sheriff says 56-year-old Deborah Morgan was arrested as she sat in a breakroom. She is charged with assault and battery with intent to kill. It wasn’t known if she had a lawyer.
