Former MLB star Alex Rodriguez announced on Instagram Saturday night that he and pop star Jennifer Lopez are engaged.

Rodriguez, 43, and Lopez, 49, have dated since 2017.
Lopez has had three prior marriages, the most recent to salsa singer Marc Anthony. Rodriguez was married once before.
Rodriguez began working as an analyst for ESPN’s “Sunday Night Baseball” last year. He finished his MLB career, beset by a performance-enhancing drug scandal, with 696 home runs, fourth-most in league history.
