Vice President Mike Pence praised President Trump Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference, telling supporters the commander in chief has delivered on the promises he made on the campaign trail.

He said Mr. Trump has cut more federal red tape than any other president, allowed the U.S. to become the largest oil and natural gas producer, and is confirming the most federal judges to the judiciary than any other president in recent history.

The vice president also said the Trump administration will finish building a wall along the southern border before he leaves office — touting Mr. Trump’s signature campaign promise in 2016. The crowd reacted by chanting, “Build that wall!”

“Promises made and promises kept,” Mr. Pence told a crowd gathered in Oxon Hill, Maryland, outside of Washington.

“The forgotten men and women of America are forgotten no more,” he added.

The vice president also praised Mr. Trump for protecting religious liberty and being a pro-life leader.

“Life is winning in America once again,” Mr. Pence said, as he shamed Democrats for endorsing late-term abortion.

His comments come after New York and other Democrat-led states are pushing for less regulation on abortion during the third trimester.
