INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - In a story June 9, The Associated Press reported that Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb’s administration is seeking a business tax increase to provide a $1 billion boost for the state’s unemployment trust fund. The administration doesn’t have an active proposal after no action was taken on its plan during this year’s legislative session. Officials say talks on how to raise money for the fund are expected ahead of the 2020 legislative session.
