PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - The Latest on a deadly church charter bus crash in Colorado (all times local):

4:40 p.m.

Authorities say four people remain hospitalized after a charter bus carrying a church youth group crashed in southern Colorado. The crash killed two people.

State Patrol Sgt. Blake White said Monday that one person was listed in critical condition at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs. White says three people are being treated for serious injuries at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo.

White says nine people were treated for minor injuries and released from area hospitals.

Jason Paul Marshall, a seminarian with the Archdiocese of Santa Fe in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was killed, as was the driver of the bus, whose identity had yet to be released late Monday.

The group was returning to New Mexico from a weekend retreat in Denver when the bus struck a bridge abutment and veered off Interstate 25 north of Pueblo.

White says the bus operator, Follow the Sun Inc. of Albuquerque, is cooperating in the investigation.

Telephone messages left with the company weren’t immediately returned.

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Santa Fe, New Mexico, says that one of its seminarians died in the crash of charter bus carrying a church youth group in Colorado.

The archdiocese said in a Monday statement that 53-year-old Jason Paul Marshall was killed in Sunday’s crash.

Marshall was chaperoning a youth group that had attended a weekend Catholic retreat in Denver.

The state patrol says the driver of the charter bus also was killed.

The Santa Fe archdiocese says all 13 remaining passengers, including youth and adults, are recovering from their injuries.

The group was returning to New Mexico when the bus struck a bridge abutment and veered off Interstate 25 north of Pueblo. The crash is under investigation.

At least one passenger on a charter bus that crashed on a Colorado interstate remains in critical condition at a Pueblo hospital.

Kristina Wolf of Parkview Medical Center said Monday that a second person was listed in stable condition following Sunday’s accident.

Mallory MacFarlane of Pueblo’s St. Mary Corwin Medical Center says four people were treated and released there on Sunday. One remained hospitalized.

She and Wolf say they can’t release any additional information.

One person was being treated Monday at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs. Spokeswoman Andrea Sinclair said she had no further details.

The Colorado State Patrol says Sunday’s crash on Interstate 25 north of Pueblo killed the driver and another person and injured at least 13 others. The cause was under investigation.

A charter bus that crashed on a Colorado interstate, killing two people, was carrying a high school church group from New Mexico who had attended a weekend Roman Catholic retreat in Denver.

Mark Haas of the Archdiocese of Denver confirmed Monday that the group from Albuquerque had attended a retreat for 2,500 youth from 12 states. They were returning to Albuquerque when the accident occurred.

The Colorado State Patrol says Sunday’s crash on Interstate 25 north of Pueblo killed the driver and another person and injured at least 13 others. An investigation is ongoing.

The Denver archdiocese issued a statement Monday offering prayers and deepest condolences to the victims, their families and their friends.

Authorities are asking for help as they investigate a church charter bus crash in southern Colorado that killed two people and injured at least 13 others.

State Patrol Sgt. Blake White says any witnesses to Sunday’s Interstate 25 crash north of Pueblo are asked to contact the patrol.

Two people, including the driver, were killed when the bus struck a bridge embankment and veered off the highway at about 2:30 p.m.

White said Monday that their identities will be released once the Pueblo County coroner notifies next of kin.

The bus was chartered by a church group in Albuquerque, New Mexico and was returning from a church conference in Denver when the accident occurred.
