LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts is seeking farmers, ranchers and agribusiness leaders who are interested in attending the governor’s trade mission to Vietnam and Japan.

The trade mission is scheduled for Sept. 3-10. The deadline to register is June 30.

The governor’s office says space is limited. People interested in participating should contact Angel Velitchkov, the counsel for international trade, at angel.velitchkov@nebraska.gov, or call the governor’s office at 402-471-2244.

Ricketts says Vietnam represents a tremendous opportunity to increase Nebraska’s agricultural exports, and Japan is one of the state’s longest-standing and most critical international partners.
