The NFL Network announced Thursday that DeAngelo Hall, former Redskins defensive back, will join NFL Network Thursday as an analyst, according to a statement.

Starting in July, Hall will appear on Good Morning Football, NFL Total Access and at on-location events like the Super Bowl.

The Pro Bowl player retired from an eight year career with the Redskins before the 2018 season. Hall played for Virginia Tech before he was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons as the fourth overall pick in 2004. He was traded to the Oakland Raiders for half a season in 2008.

“DeAngelo is a 14-year NFL veteran who brings a ton of experience to the NFL Media Group,” said Galen Gordon, NFL Network Vice President, Talent Management. “We’re thrilled to have his analysis and expertise on our platforms.”
