LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a 19-year-old man is dead after police shot him in Lawton.
Investigators say the shooting happened about 2 a.m. Monday.
OSBI says Lawton police responded to reports of a domestic disturbance involving the man and his mother but that he had already left the residence with two rifles and a handgun. Police later found him at another home where three officers fired their weapons, killing him. The dead man has not been identified.
The officers have been placed on paid administrative leave. They have not been identified.
OSBI says its report will be submitted to prosecutors for review.
In a separate shooting Monday, Oklahoma City officers killed a man they said was shooting at vehicles on Interstate 35.
