Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant is listed as questionable for Monday’s Game 5 against Toronto Raptors, but ESPN analyst Jay Williams — a friend of the superstar — said he would be “shocked” if he doesn’t play.

Durant has missed the last nine games with a calf injury, which he suffered in the second round against the Houston Rockets. The Warriors could lose the series Monday as they trail the Raptors, 3-1.

Durant and Williams had dinner on Sunday. The two also appear on “The Boardroom,” an ESPN+ show created by Durant.

“I was actually with KD last night and I will say this — regardless of whatever side of the coin you’re on with Kevin Durant, with him being emotional or barking back at people on social media,” Williams said on ESPN’s “Get Up.”

“If you’re a real hooper, you know Kevin Durant is one of the most ruthless competitors you’d ever meet. This is a guy I randomly found myself in a pick-up basketball game with at Rucker Park and he’s competing every play on a streetball court. … He loves the big stage. For him to be dropped back in Game 5 of the NBA Finals is a monumental thing. I would be shocked if we don’t see KD on the basketball court tonight.”

Durant, a two-time Finals MVP, was upgraded to questionable on Sunday after practicing with the Warriors.
