Bryce Harper is featured in All-Star Game posters and banners in Cleveland, as the Ohio city gears up for the Midsummer Classic on Tuesday. One problem: Harper didn’t even make the roster.

At this time last year, Harper slashed 45 homers to win the Home Run Derby at Nationals Park, but this year, he’s not as impressive. At the break, he is batting .253 with 16 home runs, 24 doubles and 105 strikeouts.
The Phillies’ 5-5 run in their last 10 games isn’t impressive, not to mention the Philadelphia Phillies’ three consecutive losses to the Nationals in June.
This is Harper’s first time not making the All-Star Game since 2014. Christian Yelich, Cody Bellinger and Ronald Acuna Jr. will start in the outfield for the National League side.
