ABERDEEN, Wash. (AP) - Seven people including three children have escaped an early morning house fire in Washington state.

KOMO-TV reported Thursday that emergency crews responded to a three-story residence in Aberdeen around 4 a.m. Thursday.

Officials say an 8-year-old girl, a 6-year-old boy and a 3-year-old boy were transported to a hospital.

Authorities say a 20-year-old man took himself to a hospital for treatment after escaping the fire in the city 109 miles (175 kilometers) southwest of Seattle.

Officials say the man, the girl and the 6-year-old boy were later transported to Seattle for specialized care.

None of the injuries were reported as life threatening.

Authorities say the fire is under investigation and the cause has not yet been determined.

The Aberdeen Fire Department estimates the cost of the loss to be $268,000.
