LAS VEGAS (AP) - Former Vice President Joe Biden has scooped up endorsements in Nevada from three state lawmakers and two former U.S. House members, among other officials.
Biden’s presidential campaign said Tuesday that Assemblywoman Susie Martinez, Assemblywoman Shannon Bilbray-Axelrod and Assemblyman Ozzie Fumo, all Las Vegas Democrats, were backing his campaign.
Biden also picked up endorsements from former U.S. Rep. Shelley Berkley, who represented Las Vegas in Congress from 1999 through 2013, and former U.S. Rep. Jim Bilbray of Las Vegas, who held a congressional seat from 1987 to 1995.
Biden, a former Delaware senator, also picked up endorsements from five other local officials and activists Monday.
